Animals with disabilities and injuries can still have very happy lives, they just need a bit of help sometimes.  Happier Pets Chairs and Bags are custom made to assist chickens and other small animals at times when they are unable to support themselves or to walk without pain.  Chairs without wheels are perfect for holding up those who can’t stand for long, keeping them in place for dressing changes and therapy exercises, and to take the weight off their sore legs for a rest.  The wheelchairs can assist with their rehab as they rebuild strength in their legs after injury or illness. 

These sturdy chairs are custom made to order and have adjustable comfortable slings, and adjustable heights for food and water bowls (two bowls are included with chair).  Designs can be adapted for the specific needs and abilities of the recipients.

Chair prices vary depending on size and style, but the below is a guide for sizes and costs.  Postage will incur an additional cost, dependent on location.   

Please note that I am based in Australia, so these prices are in AUD.  International shipping may be possible but could be expensive and slow depending on the country.

If you need a chair/support really urgently it may be quicker for you to make a basic one yourself, they're quite easy to do and there are several video guides online.  You can get pvc pipe and fittings from hardware stores, or you can adapt something you already have, like a coffee table frame with the top removed.  A towel or a pet blanket could be used for a quick sling. You can also use a U-shaped travel/neck pillow to support someone while they are sitting or sleeping.

Birdie Bags enable your chicken to stay with you as you go about your day, or for trips to the vet.  You can hang the bag over a chair or a doorknob for a change of scenery and they’re also a great rehab aid to hold them up and walk with them while they start to walk again. Bags can also be attached to frames such as a Jolly Jumper for rehab or just chillin out. Birdie Bags allow easy access for cleaning - pop some tissue, toilet paper etc in the detachable pouch and remove when soiled, without having to take birds out, or for outside time just undo the press studs and let it fall!  Birdie Bags are $25 plus postage.
